FMS® facility management specialist plays a critical role in ensuring that facilities are managed effectively and efficiently, and that they support the goals and objectives of the organization. They must possess a diverse set of skills and knowledge in order to effectively manage all aspects of facility operations, including maintenance, equipment management, space planning, safety and security, energy management, sustainability, and budget management. They may work as in-house facility managers or as consultants, and may be responsible for managing all aspects of facility operations, including maintenance, security, energy management, sustainability, and space planning.

Hold a relevant vocational and/or academic qualification of at least the level above that of their learners and ideally a minimum Level 3 qualification in his/her own area of specialism.
Must be in the Facility Management sectors working candidates.
Certificate From Polytechnic / Community College, Vocational College, Malaysian Skills Certificate (Level 2 or 3), Malaysia Skills Efficiency Certificate Or Competency Skills Certificate or Technical Certificate (PW2, PW4, AO, A4) In Field of Construction, Architecture, Electrical and Mechanical or Similar/ Equivalent from institution/ local authorities or International; OR
Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM), Low certificate of Education (SRP), Lower Secondary Evaluation (PMR), Level 3 Assessment (PT3) or Primary School Achievement Test (UPSR) can be considered subject to the approval of the University, OR
Others recognized/equivalent local and international that can be proven when making an application is subject to the approval of the University, AND
Be at least 25 years old in the year of application
Have at least 3 YEARS industrial experience in a related FM Sector Fields.
English requirements: All assessment will be in English, Learners need to answer all questions in English.
As an adult’s learning process, the Recognition of Past Learning Experience (RPLE) is implemented as main criteria.
Learning via Learning Management System (LMS) using portal developed by the provider.
Self-assessment process is fully implemented, candidate will be required to submit a Self Assessment Report (SAR) portfolio with specification given in 3 months after enrolment.
The PA will be checked for plagiarism test by using Turnitin as quality assurance measures. Candidate’s score must not be over than 25% for getting passing mark.
There is also a Knowledge Assessment, KA (Short Essay) for each module according to the program enrolled.
